Can Lisinopril Cause Severe Muscle Pain?

I am taking lisinopril 40 mg 2 times a day. I am having sever muscle pains. My dr. sent me for physical therapy could my muscle problem be from lisinopril? I did not have this sever pain all over my body before he increased the mgs I hurt all over an cannot even sleep constantly.

**

1. since Lisinopril is associated with orthostatic effects [hypotension], hyperkalemia, asthenia: all can combine to produce muscle weakness and pain.

2. It might be excess dose or postural hypotension, one may need to adjust the dose or use a different drug.
