Can Lisinopril Be Taken While Suffering From Lymphocytic Colitis?

I am experiencing a bout with lymphocytic colitis, which was first diagnosed 25 years ago. I am taking Lisinopril 10mg daily, and in reading different articles online, I have noted that to be one of the medications to avoid with this colitis. Your thoughts?

No studies has proven significantly about intake of Lisinopril and colitis. If you're allergic to above drug you may consult your physician he will examine and treat you with alternate medicine.

Studies have shown that there's is risk of flare up of colitis with Lisinopril but it is not significantly proven. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Avoid Lisinopril if you're allergic to this drug. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
