Can Lichen Planus In Skin Cause Cancer?

I have skin problem. I contacted three doctors in Kolkata. Out of three, two ditected psoraisis and other says lichen planus. Skin biopsy is done. Findings Lichen planus. Dr. advised to take prednisolon 30%. My question is whether the treatment is going properly or not. Is lichen planus is the symtom of cancer? Kindly help.

I really appreciate your concern and I would like to say here that the Lichen planus is not the skin cancer and this may remains there without any further clinical out come steroid some time gives good result, continue the given medicine be regular in follow up with dermatologist, have a nice day.
