Can Levofloxacin Replace Panadol If There Is No Fever But Body Ache?

Having cold cough for last for 4-5 days. first 2 days had fever and body ache . now no more fever but still having body ache. Had panadol earlier. stoped taking panadol as no more fever. Now Dr suggesting me for levofloxacin 500 mg for 5 days. should i take it ?

Levofloxacin is antibiotic.
Panadol is paracetamol, antipyretic.
Since you are haven no fever, no need to take Panadol.
Cold and cough are mostly due to infection. So levofloxacin being a broad spectrum antibiotic treat cough and cold.
So Panadol and levofloxacin are given for different purposes.
So you should take levofloxacin now for cold and cough.
