Can Levofloxacin Be Taken Twice In 24 Hour Period?

I inadventently took an extra dose of 500 mg levoflaxacin at 10 pm last night but the next scheduled dose was for today at 2 pm. Should I still take the 2 pm dose today? The regimen is one every 24 hours so I basically ingested two within that 24 hour period. Thank you.

Hello,
The correct dose of Levofloxacin is 500mg every 24 hours. So you should not take a tablet at 2 pm today. You may take the tablet at 10pm which would be 24 hours after the last dose and continue to take at 10 pm till the course is over.
You are welcome to ask any query if you have one.
Take care.
