Can Lactogen 2 Be Given To An Infant?

I have a 1 month old baby. I m trying to breast feed but milk flow isn t enough when I pump and baby refuses nipple. I recently got lactogen from the store but it was lactogen 2. Can I give him this for ONE time only (one feed) till I can get lactogen 1 or increase breast milk?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Sorry to state that you should not give Lactigen 2 to your 1 month old baby. If you are giving, you need to give Lactogen 1 only.
Try and do exclusive breast feeding since the baby is just one month old. Then from 3 or 4 months, you can use formula milk accordingly.
