Can Keflex Be Taken Along With Dairy Products?

I am prescribed Keflix for a Urinary Tract Infection and was not given a disclosure sheet Can I eat chees, milk [dairy products w/Keflix. Most info I am reading is conflicting...some say yes, others say no. Please settle the confusion. Thank you. You did not show that there was a cost as no disclosure was available. I have no money and no credit card for online. Please cancel my communications and thank you...but this would have been avoided had I known cost upfront.

Hi,

Yes, you cab take Keflex with milk. There is no conflict in it. Rather it is advised to take the medicine with food or milk to reduce any stomach upset that it might cause.

So it's better to take it with milk /food but not compulsory.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
