Can Inderal Medicine Cause Muscle Cramps?
I am 57 years old and I have been taking Half Inderal ones a day for the last 20 years.
I was prescribed this medicine to reduce anxiety and stress at work (police officer).
I am an active person, squash, weightlifting,running daily etc.,all my life.
I am now suffering from some sort of muscle cramps, aches and pains around the joints.
If I take an Authtec tablet, I feel better the following day, but I do not want to go down that route.
My blood levels are good all round.
Can this pain, be due to the length of time taking the Inderal medicine?

Muscle cramps also can be reduced by
Massaging the cramped muscle with your hands or oil
Drinking plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration
Stretching your leg muscles or riding a stationary cycle.
Taking diet rich in calcium and potassium or oral supplements of the same
Check your vit B12 and Vit D 3 levels.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
