Can Ibuprofen Be Taken For Pain In The Neck?
I currently take 1500mg salicylate bid and am still experiencing pain in my neck from a compressed nerve. Is it safe to take Ibuprofen in addition, and if so, would 600mg be too much. I weigh about 260lbs and am moderately active and consider myself to be healthy.

Went through your post and as you said you have neuropathic pain,
You are taking salicylic acid 1.5g and want to take ibuprofen in addition, I would say no these two drugs together they belong to same class of drugs called NSAIDS and will cause toxicity, like kidney and stomach problem, so take one among them
2.Neuropathic pain generally doesnt respond to NSAIDS you can take sustained release pregablin 75mg bed time that will help you.
