Can I Use Silvadene On The Wound Instead Of Silvercel?
My 47 year old son is a quad. Thankfully we do not have any real problems with pressure sores. However, he does periodically get a pressure sore on the outside of his left ankle. It seems to happen even though we are careful about keeping that area of this foot off of the bed. I do use Silvercel on it to draw out infection, etc. I was just wondering if I could use the silvadene on the wound instead of the silvercel. Would it be more beneficial? Sore about size of end of thumb.

You can also alternate use of Silvadene with Silvercel.
