Can I Take Imigran For Migraines?

Hello I have taken Imigran (amitryptiline) for migraine over many years. I don t take it often now (maybe 3 over a two month period) and it is really effective. Last week I was prescribed 2.5 mg daily of Coversyl (perindopril arginine) for moderately high blood pressure. If I have a migraine can I still take an Imigran (I have only ever needed one at a time). Thanks, Elizabeth

Dear Elizabeth
I read your query and understand your consern
You can take amitryptiline, there is no evidence that don't let those two medicaments taken together
You should know that amitryptiline isn't reccomended for patient over 55 years
Hope my answer helps you
