Can I Get A PIXEL Laser Treatment For Rosacea Acne?

hi doc..i find 3 to 4 acne like bulginess on my nose....from 3 years...i went to skin doc long back and she prescribed me tritin...to masage every night but i didnt find any result recently i went to another doc...she said its acne rosacea..rhinopyme and adviced to go for 3 sittings of PIXEL LASER...shall i go for it...?? does it harm my skin...?? is it painfulll...?? how much does it cost for a sitting for treatment on nose...???

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of rosacea acne 3 to 4 acne on nose and you want laser treatment for the same. Need not to worry. I Would suggest you to :-

Avoid greasy creams ,use water based products.

Exfoliate gently once or twice a day with a salicylic acid-based exfoliant .

Apply benzoyl peroxide cream or gel for killing the bacteria in the pore .

Wash your face using a mild soap or cleanser and lukewarm water .

If condition doesn't improve in a week then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe oral antibiotics like clindamycin , Isotretinoin or Hormone Therapy. You can go for PIXEL laser treatment and it will take 6-7 sittings for complete cure. It is not much painful and you should get your skin examined before going for laser treatment.
