Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Atopic dermatitis presents as dry scaling patches on the skin of the patient.

Eumosone is a mild potency steroid, clobetasone. It can be safely used on the delicate skin of a baby.

Moisturizing the skin with a good moisturizer is a must for atopics because there skin has a very low water retentive capacity, the water quickly evaporates into the atmosphere.

The dry scaly patches benefit from using a mild steroid like clobetasone. Once the patches resolve, the steroid can be discontinued whereas the moisturizer is continued.
