I had surgery to repair a fractured calcaneous bone. I was given Ketorolac 10 mg after surgery taken every 4 hours for pain which isn t helping. Can I also take the Hydrocodone/acetaminophen that I was taking before the surgery? I don t want to take if they are not to be taken together.

Hello,

You can safely take Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone for pain after a surgery. It is a commonly prescribed analgesic and does not cause any harm.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
