Can HIV Infection Be Transmitted Through Oral Sex?

Hi,
I am a 22 year old girl from delhi. I had oral sex with my boy friend and during that i swallowed his sperm. After some days one of my common friend told me that my boy friend is having AIDS. Now i am very afraid and want to know will i be also get infected with HIV just only by having oral sex. Please reply it very urgent

hi, yes there is definite chance of spreading infection. if he is hiv positive then you are at risk. dont worry just go for confirmatory hiv testing after a month of exposure.you can go with p24 antigen test or pcr. but you definitly need testing. go for it.

Yes thete is a chance of hiv spread by oral sex. However chances are comparatively very low. But you need to go through the hiv testing once. go for confirmatory hiv testing once after a month of exposure.
