Can HIV Infection Be Contracted After Having Protected Sex?

Hi My question is regarding hiv transmission. 6 weeks ago I had intercourse with a prostitute. I used condom. But what I did is I shaved the area near penis before intercourse. and 2 week after I got cold and cough. 4 weeks later my skin started itching very much specailly chest area and neck. there is no rash as such but small pimples. I have tested after 2 weeks elisa test. it came negative. but still i am scared. I am waiting for conclusive test after 3 months. whhat are the chances of my infection with hiv. i had no other symptoms such as fever and all. please suggest

Hello
6 weeks ago sex sex with condom ( protected ) but there was freshly shaved area .Cold and cough after 2 weeks , but also occurs itching , so these symptoms may be due to dermatitis , due to louse born infection , allergic dermatitis .
In my opinion consult a dermatologist and get his opinion as physical examination will find out the exact cause of itching .
Elisa test was NEGATIVE ( as it was supposed to be ).
Since you are so scared so get in test after 3 months .
According to your contract history , there is no chance of getting HIV infection by you .
Most of symptoms which occurs in acute HIV syndrome patients , you are not having , this is an indication that you are not a victim of HIV Infection.
Hope this will help you.
