Can HIV Be Transmitted Through Cut On Neck?

While visiting barbershop yesterday my 5 year son had a small cut in the back of the neck with a trimmer. I found it only after 3 hours and applied dettol. Is there any chance for HIV infection? Thus trimmer wasn't used for around 10 mins before used on my son.

The chances of getting HIV infection are very remote as the survival of HIV virus outside the human body or in dried blood is very difficult and it will die within very short time. Second, don't use detol or other anti-septic for cleaning the wound if suspecting HIV infection just wash with water only
