Can HIV Be Contracted By Kissing?

dearest doctor,

I french kissed someone 2 weeks ago.I had a little pain at my left side gum(maybe have an ulcer,I can't see it),did not see any blood when brushing teeth.I did not know the other person's HIV status.I did not know if he was bleeding in mouth. Can I contract Hiv from french kissing? As US CDC says they recommand against french kissing HIV positive person, but it would be extreme rare case to transmit HIV by ffrench kissing. Some website like Medhelp said that HIV doesn't transmit through Saliva whether or not it is contaiminated with blood or if there's ulcer.confused.Can you help me to clarify this?worried

Just kissing never cause spreading of hiv. hiv can spread only by sexual contact, blood to blood contact or from maternal to child. Large volume of saliva transfer is required for transmission of hiv. That cant possible by kissing so dont worry, just be relaxed. You have no chance of hiv.
