Can Gestofit Be Taken While Suffering From PCOD?

Hello doctor, I m Padmaja. I m have PCOD and high prolactine problem and I m undergoing with the treatment. Last month my doctor suggested to take an insulin Gonal 75 IU from day 2nd to 9th. This insulin has over responded and I got cycle in 20days. Now it s been 1month, I have done pregnancy test it was negative. Can I take gestofit 200 to get the date cycle this month?

Hi, I think you can take gestofit 200 for 5 days for inducing periods. I think you can take some medicines like clomiphene instead of injection for growth of follicles. Track your follicles growth by repeated ultrasound and when follicle is more than 17 to 18 mm, take injection for rupture of follicles. Be in contact with your husband every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. Take progesterone for next 2 weeks after rupture is confirmed on ultrasound. Do a urine pregnancy test after that. You can try like that for 3 to 6 cycles. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
