Can Etodolac Be Taken Along With Irbesartan?

What are the risks of taking Etodolac with Irbesartan? What I ve found on line is rather generic and not very helpful. My wife has a severe upper respiratory infection with extremely sore throat, which is not being helped with salt water and/or lidocaine gargle and she needs something for the pain. The Etodolac was prescribed for a musculoskeletal injury but is still current, and she s taken the Irbesartan for years with no side effects.

Hello I just read your query about the two drugs which you have asked.
There is a potential drug interaction bet irbesartan and etodolac so it is not recommended that you take the two together.
For your wife's sore throat give her Tab Paracetamol 500 mg thrice a day.
