Can Eliquis Cause Intestinal Bleeding?
I am having ablation next Wednesday. Of course I will be put on blood thinners. I had intestinal bleeding on warfarin, and pradaxia . will Eliquis have a same of less effect on me. Reason I have this problem is that I have lost part of my colin removed because of diverticulitis. I still have some diverticuli in my colin.

Since the mechanism of action is different, it is difficult to predict your response to the medication.
It is quite possible that you would have no problems at all or you may have bleeding occurring. There is a medication currently in development that would be used to counteract bleeding if this occurs with Eliquis.
