Can Duphaston And Progesterone Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Hi Doc, My doctor adviced me to take duphaston and progesterone suppository because of the brown discharge and spotting. Im 6 week pregnant. Is it safe for my baby? Does it really prevent miscarriage. Coz right now im experiencing bleeding with blood clots. Im so worried that i already lost my baby. Please help.

Hi I think you should get a ultrasound done to see feral well being. If it is fine, you can take duphaston and progesterone suppository.It will support your pregnancy. It is not harmful to your baby. Hope it helps.
