Can Crocin Be Taken On An Empty Stomach?
Can crocin be given on empty stomach? Hi, my daughter is 4 yrs old and is suffering from vomiting since past 12 hrs We checked her fever now and it is 99. . since he she vomited her stomach is empty. We have given him 5 ml ondem. Can we give him crocin syrup on an empty stomach ?

Crocin can be given on an empty stomach if there's no vomiting.
The antipyretic (fever reducing) medication Crocin doesn't irritate the stomach lining hence it may be given on an empty stomach for the symptomatic relief of fever. Since you have already given him Ondem to prevent vomiting, Crocin can be given after 30 minutes.
If vomiting is not controlled, Crocin can also be administered as a rectal suppository.
