Can Clavam-bid Syrup Be Continued To Treat Persistent Cough And Fever?
Hi, My 2 yrs son is suffering from cough and fever (seems to be chest infection) for last 10 days. Earlier, I gave him Clavam-BID for 4 days and we thought he was all right and stopped giving him as he had loose motions. But the cough (and sounf from chest when he breathes and coughes) has resurfaced again. Should we go ahead with Clavam-BID again or change antibiotic?

Hi, welcome to HCM. Any antibiotic should not be given without any examination and prescription of doctor. Kindly get the child examined by a doctor.
