Hi dear,

Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.

First Drugs, Carbatrol and Tegretol are both in the same group of drugs that have generic/chemical name of carbamazepines, so you can change to Tegretol if you can't find Carbatrol in Doha.

The same applies to Encorate Chrono and Depakene they both fall in a group of drugs under the name of Valproic acids/Sodium Valporates. for example in US and Canada they are known as Depakene or Depakene Chrono(Depakene Chrono has longer lasting effects). while in India the same medication is known as Encorate Chrono.

Overall, you shouldn't be worried about changing these two drugs to the other ones you mentioned but also make sure to show it to pharmacist, the pharmacist will read the generic name and will make sure it's the same drugs.

Hope this helped.

Wish you all the best
