General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Folic acid is given to prevent neural tube defects in developing fetus. Calcium and Vitamin D3 in normal range provide good support to fetus development and prevents pregnancy complications. So you can definitely take D3 and folic acid. If ensure that the dose of folic acid is same in the combination as prescribed to you.
Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
