Can Bayer Aspirin Be Taken In Place Of Levothyroxine?

How long after I take Levothryoxin (before breakfast) can I take Bayer 81 aspirin? Also, when do I take B-12 vitimin when I also have to take proferrin ES and a vit. C pill? Simply, put I need the run-down on these meds. and if I can drink a cup of coffee at any point in a day.

There are certain medications that affect the effectiveness of levothyroixine and should be taken either 4 hours before or 4 hours after levo . Ferrous sulphate iron replacement is one of these.
Though proferrin es is not specifically mentioned , because it is also replacement, you should consider observing the same precautions.

Other medications such as anti acids with magnesium or aluminum (gaviscon, maalox, milk of magnesia), calcium carbonate, sulcralfate.
High fiber foods can also affect absorption so the same time frame should be kept.

There are no known interactions with aspirin.

Levothyroixine works best on an empty stomach so should be taken 1/2 hour before breakfast.
