Can Bactrim Be Taken While Suffering From Kidney Dysfunction?

I am 69 year old female with heart disease diabetes and 22% kidney function.I have urinary tract infection and my dr. gave me cipro and had a reaction to it so he gave me microbid and my reaction to it was awful.I have some bactrim but didn t know if it would cause damage to my kidneys.I dont want to get worse till I can see my dr. Monday.Will it hurt me to take the bactrim I have?
