General & Family Physician, Dr. Saad Aziz's Response
Hi, Thank you for contacting HCM. Co-Amoxiclav may rarely cause skin reactions such as skin rashes, urticaria, and itching. If the mentioned bleeding is due to Itching, then it is probably due to your medication. But if there is no associated itching, then your co-amoxiclav is probably not the cause of these symptoms. There may be other causes of clitoral bleeding such as age related changes and dryness. Contact your primary care physician or your OBGYN for further check up and treatment.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. Wishing you good health.
