Can Atorvastatin Cause Tea Coloured Urine?
On several Blood Pressure medications and Atorvastatin. Noticed yesterday and today that my urine is a tea color no matter how much water I drink. I have no pain or Muscle weakness or ternderness. Could the medications be the casue of the dis colored Urnine?

It could be due to rhabdomylosis in which muscle cells are damaged and with the result myoglobin is released in blood.This myoglobin can damage the kidneys and result in dark coloured or tea coloured urine.
RHABDOMYLOSIS is known to occur after the use of statins like ATORVASTATIN.
Stop the medication and consult your doctor as early as possible.
