Hello, Anxit plus is a drug that is generally used for patients with post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression etc. It is kind of a mood regulator and also helps you calm down as it increases both GABA (a neurotransmitter) and serotonin. I would suggest you not to continue Anxit for long term use than prescribed. It is because of certain practical side effects. Generally the drug on long term use can cause difficulty concentration, dizziness, if you do not sleep properly for at least 6 to 8 hours after taking the drug it can also make you feel lethargic and drowsy. If you are a female it can also cause disturbed menstrual cycle and it has also been shown to be linked with fluctuation in blood pressure especially if you are already hypertensive. So my advise not to use it as a long term therapy for sleep disorder rather visit your doctor upon completion of the course so that he can slowly taper you off the drug and give you a maintenance therapy with another drug.
