Can Amoxicillin And Tylenol Be Taken At The Same Time?

i had dental surgery on this past friday, before that i was fine, the doctor gave me amoxicilian to prevent infection, wel since saturday it looks like a now have viral infection = i say this becuse im taking amoxicilian, im now having fever and chills - i looked up that tylenol will eliminate the fever - my question is it safe to take amoxicilian and tylenol together ? thank you

Thanks for the query..

As per your complain yes, you can take Tylenol along with Amoxicillin that you are taking post dental surgery as it will not cause any complications..

Although many a times amoxicillin and a combination of Acetaminophen [tylenol] and Ibuprofen is given post dental surgery to relieve pain and inflammation along with preventing infection with the help of antibiotics..

If you are down with viral fever you can very much take tylenol and along with it you can take a soft diet, hydrate yourself with plenty of fluids and take sufficient rest..
