Can Ambein And Cannabidiol Oil Be Taken Together?

I am a ALS patient. I take 5 milligrams of ambien sleeping pills at night. I also started taking 500 mg of cannabidiol oil in the mornings. I ve have felt so much better. Would it be a problem if I took the oil at bedtime with the Ambien? Side effects? Or maybe stop the ambien? Thanks

it's a waste of the oil. The oil is not necessarily a sedative and it certainly does not have > 10 hrs of effect. So if you used it at night, it's effect would be slept off. I'm not sure there is much of any interaction. Certainly there would be a LOT of marijuana deaths if it in any way depressed the brain or respiration or heart (it is a mild heart stimulant). I am unclear why anyone would use cannabidol oil at bedtime.
