General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You are right, she has been on many drugs that can cause sedation. If she has only sickle cell disease I didn't think she would need so many drugs.

Morphine is only needed when she may be in crises. Similarly, Alprazolam and Diphenhydramine and Benztropine do not need to be given if not indicated for other reasons.

You can always talk to her doctor regarding her medication and to reduce which she does not need. I am not in a position to say which is not needed as I don't know complete about here, but at least many of these drugs are not weed in sickle cess disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
