Hi, Question: Can I take Afrin if I ve also just taken ibuprofen (400mg) and if I routinely take 10 mg of Zyrtec daily? Backdrop: I take a generic zyrtec for allergy symptoms, it is the only medicine I routinely take. I have cold symptoms which after four days have settled into moderate sinus congestion and during the night, a post-nasal drip which causes severe sore throat pain. I just took some ibuprofen to reduce the discomfort; earlier I gargled with salt water, and I m trying to sit up to reduce the symptoms as well. I see a response below that taking Zyrtec and Afrin is o.k. if it doesn t become routine and if one is not taking any other medications. Since I just took the ibuprofren I m double-checking. Thanks
