Can 2 Follicles Shown In Scan Release An Egg And Result In Twins?
Hello, I had a follicle scan today with 2 follicles measuring 22 and 28. The NP thinks that the one measuring at 28 is a cyst but the only follicle looks like it will be the one to release an egg. I was intructed to give myself a trigger shot after my appt this morning and told I would ovulate on Sunday morning. Is it likely that both follicles will release an egg and result in the possibility of twins or will the larger follicle be too large by Sunday? Thanks!
