Burning Sensation At The Tip Of Tongue, Saliva Taste Different, Pain In Ear. Reason ?
The tip of my tongue feels like I ate something hot and has a burning sensation and my saliva taste different. I was treated for shingles this past winter and this same feeling along with pain in my ear. An ENT confirmed it was shingles but now I am having the tongue issues and this has been going on off and on since last spring.
Hi, Thanks for contacting HCM As you have history of shingles and in this time having Burning sensation at the tip of tongue, saliva taste different, pain in ear most probably suggest glossitis / ulcer over the tongue. Please consult the ENT specialist for further management.
Thanks
