Bruised And Cut Big Toe With The Pain Reaching Upto The Calf Muscles After Hitting A Hard Plastic Chair. Is The Toe Fractured?

I kicked a hard plastic chair with the top of my right foot and my big toe is bruised swollen and cut open but the pain shoots through the top of my foot my ankle all the way into my calf. I can move my toe but im in alot of pain is it fractured? What did I do? :(

An xray of the injured area is mandatory to rule out any injury to the bone (either a fracture or dislocation).

As you have an open injury (which might need wound suturing), I suggest you to attend the Emergency room for appropriate care and managment. There is no role for self care measures in your case.
