Bruise On Arm, Lump Beneath Skin, Feels Like Its Attached To Fibrous Tissue. Treatment?

My son showed my his arm , there is a 3 bruise on his arm inside just above the elbow , with a garage sized lump beneath the skin. You can hold it and feel is as attached to fiborous tissue , like a knot in a string. It s not round or smooth. No pain either and it just appeared suddenly with no injury or apparent punctures in area.

Hello
Thanks for your query. You have noticed a soft painless lump on arm of your son.It is likely to be a benign tumor from soft tissuef It could be a lipoma or neurofibroma. Please consult some surgeon who on clinical examination would be able to diagnose the same and will decide whether it needs to be excised or not.
