Brown Lumps In Pubic Area, Bleeding When Disturbed. Normal?

Strange small brown lumps in pubic area: I am a adult male, 31 years of age and I ve noticed some strange small brown lumps around my pubic area and when I try to get them off, they end up bleeding a lot. Usually there are only a few, but as time goes by almost every time I shave down there, I discover more and one or two on the penis that hasn t increased. Is this normal for men to get these types of bumps. I have a very low sexual activity (once or twice per year) so I m unsure what it may be.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM
With history given by you, it seems that you are having angiokeratoma.
Angiokeratomas are typically asymptomatic, 2- to 5-mm, blue-to-red papules with a scaly surface located on the scrotum, shaft of penis, labia majora, inner thigh, or lower abdomen.
As there is vascular proliferation in lesions, you have bleeding after rupturing the lesions.
There may be development of infection, if it is not treated.
You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis , if needed, biopsy may be done.
Excision, cryotherapy , electrocautery or laser therapy are the different modes of treating angiokeratomas.

I usually prefer electrocautery in my patients of angiokeratomas.

You discuss with your dermatologist for perfect treatment and go ahead..ok
You will be alright.

I hope you might be satisfied with my answer.
Thanks.
