Broken Femur Bone, Ligament Tear. Screw Fitted At Knee Joint. Will MRI Scan Be Clear?

Hello, I had an accident and femur bone is broken and steel rod is planted and 1 screw is fitted at knew joint. Now am having a ligament tear on the same leg, but Dr.says to get mri scan to check the percentage of tear, but am not getting clear image of the ligament, radiation get distracted due to screw. please let know is there any mri scan which can be taken clearly, even though screw is present...

MRI is usually not done when there is a metal crew - it might get dislodged!
CT scan is the choice under these circumstances.
