Boil On Scrotum With Bright Red Blood Drainage And Raised Lumps. Is It A Result Of A Previous Surgery?

My husband had a boil on his scrotum which he received an antibiotic. It drained but has never stopped draining. Sometimes the drainage is a moderate amount bright red blood. Now, Externally there are two raised lumps. One is approx. 1/2 inch long and the other is approx. 1 inch long. He said the area is pain ul to the touch. "like a raw area". He is a diabetic and has a hx o boils. He had surgery years ago on the glands under one arm and has had no problem in that area since surgery. How can we treat it. Why does it keep draining. Cant get him to go to the doctor. Are there any complications that can arise without treatment. He's not running a temp.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
The bleeding from the wound could be due to the tender area and may be having folliculitis, just applied light pressure over the boil with cotton gauze for two minuit the bleeding will stop then apply antibiotic cream "Povidone" would be nice, it will come around with proper care and hygiene no need to worry have nice day.
