a past history of hemorroids suggest that this blood could certainly be of hemorroidal origin. Triggers of hemoroidal bleeding could include, hard stools and use of harsh or sharp materials around the anus. Dryness around the anus could contribute to fissures.
However, a clinical evaluation to ascertain this diagnosis of hemorroids at this stage is important. Other causes of bright red anal bleeding also need to be excluded. Visiting your primary care
physician is worthwhile. In the mean time, avoid hard foods, pepper, eat much fruits, vegetables and fibre and drink enough water.
