Bleeding While Urination. Treatment?

I had sex with my boy friend for 3 or 4 times after every week and the sex is always safe with good condoms . 2 days after the last sex when I went to pass out urine when the urine is finished few drops of blood came out of urethera , with pain. And this cycle is repeating when i pass out urine. I also have a little bite pain down there. I want to know what is the problem and what should I take for this? Thanks

Hello dear...
The symptoms suggest that you might be having Urinary Tract Infection & blood in urine may be attributed to involvement of Urinary Bladder.
Management includes:
1. Drinking lots of water..it dilutes the urine & reduces the burning sensation.
2. Antibiotics like Ciprofloxacine 500 mg twice a day.
3. Analgesics like paracetamol if there is associated fever.
4. Avoid acidic foods & drinks
So...it will be better to get your urine tests done & consult an Urologist.
One more thing...avoid intercourse untill the symptoms subside.

Hi,
what you describe is very characteristic of a urinary tract infection, probably of the bladder.
Its advisable to do a urine analysis, culture and antibiotic sensitivity tests or meet your physician for the prescription of an appropriate area specific anti biotic. While waiting, drink a lot of water and continue avoiding unprotected sex.
