Being Treated For Acne With Emolene And Retino AC Gel. Will This Eradicate The Scars?
Dear Doctor, I am getting treated for acne , I have been prescribed emolene and retino AC gel for application during night. And avene sun care lotion twice a day for application and face wash Benzoyl Peroxid Creamy Wash 4% twice a day. 1)Please suggest does this medication eradicates scars/marks left by acne? 2)My face skin color is bit darker than my body color, how should I improve my complection? hello, regarding your first question yes use of retino ac gel will reduce the acne and the spots but will have little effect on scars for which treatment will depend on the amount, type and severity of scarring.
For second question you can use a kojic acid or hydroquinone cream with a sunscreen during day time to improve your complexion. take care

Hello sunil, continue treatment for acne, even after control , take tab. Azithromycine 500 mg three days a week for 6 months, if active lesions in between occurs , apply clindamycine gel at night on lesions only. For spots and complexion , avoid sun exposure, do face wash with glycolic acid and kozic acid containing face wash. Take L glutathion containg tablet for 2 years. Be positive, avoid tension, avoid milk, ghee, oily food. Best wishes.. I hope you may get good result.
