Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Upper gastro intestinal endoscopy was done.
2. Bleeding usually from the lower intestinal tract, commonly presents with blood in stools. Sigmoidoscopy and Colonoscopy is essential to identify any cause to be identified.
3. You are being treated for gastritis, as stomach endoscopy is showing erosions or mucosal damage. Continue treatment.
4. If bleeding is still present in stools, get a colonoscopy done.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
