Baby Swallowed Sex Nut. Will He Pass It Through His Digestive System?

hi, my baby swallowed a small hex nut but i cannot afford to take him to the hospital as I live in Thailand and xrays are expensive here. I can't be 100% sure he swallowed it but one minute he had it in his hand, the next minute I cannot find it anywhere. As I was looking for it, he found another one and put it in his mouth but I immediately removed it. It is quite possible that he swallowed it, but i cannot take to the hospital. Will he pass it on through his digestive system and poo it out? Or will it be serious? Thanks in advance

You should ideally see a doctor and get an X ray. It is important to know where the hex nut has lodged.
However, if the hex nut has reached the stomach and the child is in no apparent distress, it is quite safe to assume that it would pass through the digestive tract with no difficulty.
