Baby Having Skin Issues, Eyes Crusty, Pimple Like Marks On Face. Is It Contagious?
I am babysitting a one year with skin issues since 6 months. Eyes get crusty and puffy and he has pimple like marks that come and go on face. He has been on prescription creams and meds for awhile. My question is my son, age ten just developed a pimple on nose that looks similar to one on baby s face. Could it be same issue even after months of never getting anything? His mother doesn t think child is contagious. I am worried that he is?

As per your query you are baby sitting one year kid having some skin issues and now your son got similar kind of problem.
It appears from your query that the 1 year old baby has "atopic dermatitis". This is a totally non contagious disease and do not cause any infection to the people surrounding the affected person.
Even then a simple logical thing is that if there would have been contagious nature of the disease then it would had affected you or the mother of the baby first.
So rest assured regarding any possibility of contagious nature of the problem.
