Arm shaking uncontrollably, weakness, sweating excessively, feeling better on eating chocolate. Causes?

Hello, My husband was waiting in the car for me the other day and when I returned to the car he said that he had a sudden spell where his hands were shaking uncontrollably, he felt weak, he was sweating excessively and just felt horrible. There was a small back of Halloween chocolates in the car so he had a few of those and he started to feel better. What was this all about?
