Neurologist 's  Response
Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

You should know that tremor is not the main typical sign of Parkinson disease. A thyroid dysfunction or anxiety could be the cause of tremor.

Anyway, I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a careful physical exam and performing some tests (complete blood count for anemia, thyroid hormone levels for thyroid dysfunction, blood electrolytes for possible imbalance) to exclude other possible causes.
A DAT scan would definitely help exclude Parkinson disease.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards,
Dr. Aida
